TWO GRIPS USED

There are two grips needed in the main, while using battle ropes and both are shown below.

HAND SHAKE GRIP

Exactly as it is described, we hold the rope just as we would during a HAND SHAKE.

HAMMER GRIP

For specific exercises we need a very secure hold and this is better achieved through a HAMMER GRIP, again exactly as it sounds and we hold the end of the rope facing upward.

The class is for all levels, and you work as hard as you feel able. However we do feel that due to the nature of a 360 Battle Fit class you will have a reasonable level of fitness at the outset.

It isn’t necessary to wear gloves in the main, however you may prefer to do so if it feels more comfortable. We do advise you wear some sort of wet weather glove if the weather conditions are inclement. A good option maybe to wear a wet weather golfing glove!

Usual sports kit is good, again if the weather is on the cooler side then a few layers are recommenced so you can remove them as you get warmer during the workout
